Lloyd Bannings returns to his hometown of Crossbell to follow in the footsteps of his brother’s path and be a member of the Crossbell Police Department. The department he is in is division called the Special Support Section division, which does odd jobs and aids the needy. But he and his new teammates slowly discover that their lively city is hiding a dark criminal underbelly…as as well as several terrible secret.

Crossbell was the scene of a continuing territorial battle in both the Republic of Calvard and the Erebonian Emperor. It has since grown into a vibrant city-state that is now one of the important centers of economic activity on the continent.
After three years of being away from his hometown, Lloyd Bannings returns in attempt to follow in brother’s steps and join the Crossbell Police Department. He arrives to find that the department has assigned him to Special Support Section. This is a department that deals with the odd and minor request. His new coworkers who include Elie MacDowell, who is the daughter of the city’s mayor; Randy Orlando, a womanizing former soldier; and Tio Plato, a budding techno-savant.
Although their police department is slammed by the media, and snubbed at by the rest in the CPD, Lloyd and his team continue to strive for their city to become a better place. Then they find themselves faced with the pervasive corruption infiltrating their community. They’re unaware of just how deep the Shadows are of Crossbell City reach…
