Scorn is a first-person, terrifying horror game, that plays out in an atmospheric universe with strange forms and somber tapestry.
It is designed around the concept of “being lost in the universe”. It is a place where you are isolated and lost in this dreamlike world. The unsettling environment is an entire character.
Each location has its own story, puzzles, and characters. They all play a role in the development of a cohesive universe. Throughout the game you will open up new areas and acquire various skill sets and weapons, as well as various other items and work to make sense of the sights presented to you.
GAMEPLAY PRODUCTS
A cohesive “lived within” universe. Scorn is set in an open universe that is comprised of various interconnected areas. Every area has its own maze layout that provides a variety of rooms and different pathways. The narrative is entirely within the game. There aren’t any cut scenes to distract from the grim realities of life. Pay attention as the game won’t be apathetic when something goes unnoticed on your trip through the dark. Each and every thing serves a function – it’s just up to you to work out what it is.
Full body awareness: Players will feel more immersed as they become aware of their body movements as well as their body. In the real world, interaction is realistic – objects are grabbed with your hands (instead of being floating on the air), machines and instruments can be operated using the controls , etc.
The inventory and ammo management is specified and limited. It plays a crucial role to keep players at the forefront of their thinking through the entire game. It is imperative for players to consider when they should engage and when to go for the cover of their surroundings and how they impact the environment around them. You will need to use various styles of play to progress.

Yes, we plan to release the game in two parts. The first part coming in 2018.
It’s the only way it can be achieved. There won’t be DLC and expansions. There will be no sequels. Ever.
